MeraTheka is a product of Mahavijay Solutions Private Limited. You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time, including data received through Google Sign-In and messages exchanged with us on WhatsApp.
How to request deletion
- Email: write to support@meratheka.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
- WhatsApp: send DELETE MY DATA to our official WhatsApp Business number.
- In the app: Firm Owners can remove workers, managers and their records from My Team / Workers, or close the firm account from Profile.
Please include the name, phone number or email address linked to your account so we can find your data. We may ask you to confirm your identity before deleting anything.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
- We delete your personal data within 30 days of confirming your request.
- Records that Indian law requires us or your employer to keep (for example wage, payment and tax records) are retained for the legally required period, with your other personal details removed. A worker with such records is deactivated rather than deleted.
- Your phone number is added to a do-not-message list so you stop receiving WhatsApp updates from us.
Stop WhatsApp messages only
Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us to stop receiving updates without deleting your account.
