The following Disclaimer applies to MeraTheka and its platform available at app.meratheka.com. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Disclaimer.

1. General Information Only

The content, reports, and outputs generated by MeraTheka — including attendance records, financial summaries, wage calculations, invoice figures, and project reports — are based solely on the data entered by you and your authorised users. MeraTheka does not independently verify, audit, or validate the accuracy of any data entered into the Platform.

Nothing on this Platform constitutes professional legal, financial, accounting, labour, or regulatory advice. You should consult qualified professionals for decisions that require such expertise.

2. Accuracy of Data & Reports

The Platform's outputs (reports, totals, balances, attendance grids, etc.) are computed from data provided by you. MeraTheka makes no representation or warranty that:

• Any data entered into the Platform is accurate, complete, or free from errors.
• Computed reports or summaries are suitable for submission to regulatory authorities, courts, auditors, or any third party.
• Wage calculations, deductions, or financial figures comply with any specific labour law, GST regulation, or accounting standard.

It is your responsibility to verify all outputs before acting on them or sharing them with third parties.

3. Face Recognition Technology

The attendance feature uses AI-based face recognition. While the system is designed to achieve high accuracy, MeraTheka does not guarantee:

• That every scan will result in a correct match or that all genuine matches will be identified.
• That the system is free from the possibility of false positives (incorrect matches) or false negatives (missed matches).
• That the technology will perform identically under all lighting conditions, camera qualities, or physical changes in appearance.

Face recognition results should be treated as an aid to attendance management, not as conclusive proof of presence. Final attendance decisions remain the responsibility of the Firm Owner and Site Manager.

4. GST & Tax Compliance

MeraTheka provides invoicing tools that generate GST-formatted invoice documents. However:

• MeraTheka is not a GST-registered tax advisor or a certified accounting system.
• Invoice templates and tax calculations are based on data and GST rates entered by you.
• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of GSTIN numbers, HSN codes, tax rates, and invoice details.
• MeraTheka invoices should be reviewed by your accountant or GST practitioner before submission or filing.

5. Third-Party Services

MeraTheka integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase (authentication) and PhonePe (payments). MeraTheka is not responsible for:

• Downtime, errors, or data loss caused by third-party service providers.
• Changes to third-party APIs or services that may affect Platform functionality.
• The privacy practices or terms of any third-party service.

6. Service Availability

MeraTheka does not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times, error-free, or free from interruptions caused by maintenance, updates, network failures, or events beyond our reasonable control (including force majeure events such as natural disasters, government action, or power failures).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MeraTheka, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from:

• Errors or inaccuracies in Platform outputs or reports.
• Decisions made by you in reliance on data, summaries, or outputs from the Platform.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
• Temporary unavailability of the Platform.
• Any other matter related to the Platform, even if MeraTheka has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. No Professional Relationship

Use of MeraTheka does not create a professional, advisory, or fiduciary relationship of any kind between you and MeraTheka. Any recommendations, suggestions, or defaults within the Platform are provided for convenience only and should not be relied upon as professional guidance.

9. Changes to This Disclaimer

MeraTheka reserves the right to update this Disclaimer at any time. The current version will always be available at this URL. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.

10. Governing Law

This Disclaimer is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Disclaimer shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
